How I decided to become an Online Entrepreneur (and why you should too!)

So by now it has been a week that I’ve announced to family members and friends – in fact the entire world – that I will become a Millionaire in the (near) future. It was a bold action from my side, but let me tell you one thing… I have never been more sure and positive about something than the fact that 2012 will be MY YEAR!

Next to restructuring my existing company CommUnity (Communication Consultancy), I have started this year with Multilevel Marketing (in another article I’ll be telling more about this), but also Online Marketing, which this blog and the Connecting Millionaires society is actually all about.

You probably think I’m a complete newbie to online marketing. Well, technically you could say yes. However, I have been preparing for this a little over a year already. That you didn’t know, right! So, there could be some friends and relatives who right now are skeptical (not to say cynical) about my intentions of being an online entrepreneur. Well, these people couldn’t be more wrong.

In fact, before deciding to become an online entrepreneur, I have done tons and tons of research, (costly) trainings, educating myself and testing out some stuff before I decided this year to give it a real try. It is still a risk, but one thing I know for sure… with the more and more emerging E-commerce world, the smartest way on how to MAKE MONEY NOW IS BY DOING IT ONLINE!

BUT (yes, there’s a big but)!! To be successful – since the internet is indeed full of BS stuff – not everyone can be an online entrepreneur, unless you work to achieve the following mindsets that are essential to the victory of an online business owner:  

1)      Be willing to put massive amount of hours into research, training and testing;

2)      Be open for trial and error and remain strong to overcome any (financial) setback;

3)      Be bold and don’t let friends, family and peers get in your way by holding you back;

4)      Adapt, adapt, and ADAPT over and over again when something is not working out or even when something is working OK (but could always be improved);

5)      BELIEVE that making a lot of money is also yours to have and manage;

6)      Always stay true to yourself and act from your gut (the answer will always come from the inside).

If you believe that you have these kinds of attitude and/or know you can achieve them, there might be a good chance that the online business world is also yours to undertake.  Still not sure? Why joining “Connecting Millionaires” could change your life forever.

Isn’t it amazing how wonderfully creative the mind of a human being can be? If you take a moment and look at what we humans have achieved to date, then you will realize (hopefully again) how precious our time here on earth is and why we should value every manifesting and creative abilities we possess.

It is only three days ago that I had this magnificent eureka moment, where all of a sudden I felt the urge to share my journey to becoming a Millionaire not only with my friends and family, but the entire WORLD! It led me to create my 4^th blog “Connecting Millionaires”, providing the opportunity to one and all to follow and join me on my exciting mission to achieve complete financial freedom… in ONE YEAR!

If I’m able to pull this off? That’s really not the main issue here. More important is that – while achieving a far more fulfilling life – I help others to also take the brave step to take control of their life’s circumstances. However, you can bet I’ll do anything within my power to achieve something once I’ve set my mind to it.

Most probably some of you (who happens to know me) would argue about the authenticity of my actions. For instance, what about my Communication Consultancy that I already have for 5 years? Well, if you know about starting a business, you most likely also know that most business fail after 2-3 years. Having my company for nearly the double amount of years gives it indisputably every right of existence.

And indeed, over the last couple of years my company has done some very nice and lucrative projects. Nonetheless, God and some people/institutions know the many mistakes I’ve done in the past, not to mention financial ones. Again, my parents have never taught me how to be a successful entrepreneur.

But even worse is the economy we’re living in. Sitting behind clients the entire time to finally get paid and being screwed up by a small group of influential corporate thieves, is eventually making it way too difficult for me with my small and humble company to achieve a spot in that “high society” crap…oops, did I say that? I meant the upper crust J.

I have so many plans, so many desires. My creative mind is tirelessly knocking on the door, calling out the breakthrough it deserves. And with that purpose I decided that start this mission. And why not by sharing all the positive (and also the less positive juicy details) about managing great wealth?

Going back to my first article I posted on my “Connecting Millionaires” blog, I have to say that I was totally astonished by the many page views it received. In just a few hours I got over 30 page views already! Hey, in that big, overloaded viral world we call the internet that is quite an achievement if no promotion whatsoever has been done. I wonder how many hits this next one will have!

How to become a Millionaire in 52 weeks by joining me!

There!... I jotted down my first 6 words for my first article on my 4^th Blog. Yes, you heard me right, this is my 4^th blog already! Why 4 blogs, you are probably wondering? And I’m pretty sure you’re asking me right now if I’ll be able to pull things through eventually… 

Well, to be honest, I have never been more exciting than right now to have so many blogs going on at the same time. Because like an unknown source (better said, I’m not sure where this wisdom has come from) has quoted once: “Doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness”. 

And since I’m focused on 1) promoting better communication among people and 2) on helping people reach their greatest potential through physical, mental and spiritual empowerment, I am more than inspired to share my personal experiences, stories, interests, available (online) information and many more with the world! And that at the end makes me… HAPPY! :)

Recently I have started a very interesting journey. I have been blessed so far with wonderful parents, who have taught me great lessons about fellowship, integrity, companionship and being of service to humanity. Those upbringings have led me to join wonderful organizations such as the Junior Chamber International (JCI) and also to start my own communication consultancy. However, they have never taught me how to be and think more like an successful entrepreneur. 

Back in their days my parents were pioneers, revolutionists who wanted to make a great impact in their community. And so they did (and are still doing). And I’m committed to live up to their expectations of also giving my part to the totality. However, one thing I have learned from the ‘real’ world is that without money, without the necessary material resources it’s is going to be damn hard to accomplish anything that will bring lasting changes and well-planned improvements. 

And what about our most important resource… OURSELVES and the incredible knowledge and creativity we have acquired to create things out of thin air?! How can we help others when we are broke, desperate and fighting to survive each and every single day? Indeed, money is not everything, but it sure is a lot of things! 

And that’s why I have decided this year – anno 2012 – to start my brave journey to become a Millionaire. And with that help the global community in general, but especially the Curaçao community and its people in particular. Through my blog posts I will share with you my story and how I am becoming a Millionaire in 52 weeks (that’s right… one year!). Impossible? Not if you dream it, wish it, do it. Want to join me?
